Programs

The Aark offers a variety of group experiences to enhance and promote community awareness of, and respect for, our wild heritage.

On-site tours of the Aark are available for groups of up to 15 people. We will visit your group or organization and, with the assistance of our furred and feathered creatures, we will try to enhance your group's understanding of the role we all play in protecting the wildlife around us.

Please contact the Aark at (215)968-4963 concerning fees and available times.

Currently, the charges are:

  • $175.00 for a half hour program

  • $225.00 for a one hour program

  • $100.00 for an onsite tour (maximum 15 participants).

The Aark is staffed by a cadre of professionals and dedicated trained volunteers who provide 24 hour service, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Depending upon age and/or injury, an orphaned or wounded creature may required attention every couple of hours around the clock.

Assistance is also available by trained individuals for phone inquiries on a variety of questions relating to injured or orphan birds and mammals. It is not uncommon for Aark professionals to spend a great deal of time coaching an individual on capturing and safely transporting a wounded animal to our Center.
