Beavers Need Your Help!
We’re only $3,000 away from reaching our $50,000 goal!
Our beaver enclosure has played a critical role in past rehabilitations, but after years of use, it’s no longer able to safely or effectively meet the needs of the animals in our care. We’re taking on the project of rebuilding our beaver pen to ensure it provides the proper environment for recovery, development, and successful release.
Your support helps us restore this critical space and continue providing specialized care for one of Pennsylvania’s most ecologically important species.
Support the Musk Turtles from Crystal Lake
Crystal Lake located in Carsonia Park, Berks County was dredged in Novemeber 2025 leading to the disturbance of brumating turtles and the unfortunate death of over 40 turtles, many fish, and hundreds of snails.
With community members, we rescued 30+ turtles throughout the winter and spring of 2025. The musk turtles we have in care will remain with us until the project is complete. Please consider making a donation towards the care of these turtles. While they are here expenses include food and medicine for the foreseeable future. Your support means so much to us! Thank you!
