Getting Involved at Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center

The Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center operates primarily through the dedication of volunteers. Each year, we provide care to thousands of wild animals thanks to the time and commitment of our volunteer team.

We care for  a wide variety of mammals, birds, raptors, reptiles, and amphibians. We depend on our volunteers to help keep the facility running and to deliver reliable, high-quality care to over 5,000 sick, injured, or orphaned animals annually. It’s a community effort, and with your support, we can continue to make a meaningful impact.

Those interested in volunteering at the clinic must first attend an information session, agree to our volunteer policies, provide a criminal background clearance, and complete online courses in safety and clinic familiarity before starting work on site. Vaccinations are required for some activities.

Whatever your interests, experience, or abilities, there may be a role for you at Aark. If you’re inspired by our mission and want to contribute, we encourage you to review the volunteer opportunities currently open and learn more about how you can join our team.
